Skipping

Ellie was asking on the Forum if anyone has improved with their skipping since doing Dore. If you scroll down this blog, you can see Harry skipping with his new karate belt, but just thought I'd add that he has been practicing with his friends at school and can now skip even better and is even doing cross-overs!

Harry is coming along in leaps and bounds with Dore. A simple act of skippimg is an achievement as before Dore the majority cannot do it beause of their co-ordination difficulties. I can't wait to see his future development on the programme, Go for it Harry!!! Ellie XXX

Love the video, great skills there and Harry. Isn't it great when it all just clicks into place. I need to get a skipping rope, try that out on Matthew :)

Kenny is doing well with his skipping i see, it is strange a little thing like skipping but it makes all the difference to our children that they can do it.
I felt really sorry for Kieran as he worried for two days that he would have to do skipping on sports day at school as he was hopeless. In the end he went to see his teacher and the skipping was taken out of his activities.
For those that would say that skipping does not prove that it was because of Dore. Leila was nearly 10 before she could do it the same with riding a bike and it all came together whils she was doing Dore, she had tried for so long before and was frustrated she was unable to do either. Ellie XXX
